40 Day Revolution – iRest Yoga Nidra with Kelly

From this place of discovery, trauma and difficult life situations are then met with a deeply wise compassionate response.” Dr. Richard Miller iRest is version of yoga nidra (yogic sleep) developed by clinical psychologist Dr. Richard Miller and the Walter Reed Medical Center.

iRest is practiced either seated or lying down, while the mind remains active and able to hear the instructor. During the practice we explore deep relaxation, self inquiry and acceptance, inviting ourselves back to our own true nature of unwavering being. iRest is a practice that will increase and enhance your own senses and well as provide tools to enhance resiliency when faced with stressful situations. irest has been proven to combat issues such as PTSD, anxiety, and insomnia.

Brooke will lead you through “The Body Listens” – a workshop that explores the quality of our thoughts and how they connect with the body. With a bit of awareness and good intention, we can explore how to support our bodies with kindness and compassion. The session will include journaling prompts and a short meditation.
